- Message: Hello everybody! I am currently still in Idaho absolutely loving my life. I sold my pre-school in May 2002 so I could just focus on my daughter, Brooklyn, who arrived home with her daddy and I in December 2001 after our 30 day adventure in Kazakhstan to get her. KAZA-WHAT? It is a folk-muslim country that used to be part of the Soviet Union and is now it's own independent state bordering Russia and China. Her heritage is a mixture of sorts from both countries and she is an absolute doll. I am still going to school part-time to pick up some creative writing classes and who knows if anything will ever come of it, but we shall see. I have been working on some children's books starring Brooklyn and her adopted cousin Jamie, who came home Feb 2002 from Guatemala. It seems to be contagious in this family. We plan on beginning the adventure again in a year or so when Brookie is 2, and then it's off to Azerbaijan, or Cambodia depending on the world situation. Goog luck to all of you and drop me a line if you remember me--especially all of you former thespians out there (th th th!!!!)

- Message: What's up everyone. It's Gabe, the guy with the braids like ole dog back in the day, now i've got a bald head. Anyway after high school I joined the Marine Corps, spent some time overseas, and got out a Sgt before the War began. I then moved to Orlando Florida and attended the University of Central Florida for my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology. Currently I am in pursuit of my Master's degree in Change Management at UCF. I run a Morning and Afterschool program for the YMCA here in Florida, which i love because most of the kids here are under-privileged and need a structured environment. I am single by choice (I like to believe) and have no kids, which i find amazing. I more then likely will not be able to attend the 10 year reunion but I hope everyone is doing something they love, living a great life and i'll see you come year 15 or 20. Take care everybody! and somebody please become famous, I'd like to say I went to school with at least one celebrity.

- Message: What's Up class of 1995! Despite the fact that I technically didn't graduate with you all because I returned to CVS to graduate a Spartan. I departed California the first time for Norfolk State University, loved it perhaps a little too much. Came home for a little rest, and departed again to Chicago where I completed my degree in Education with concentrations in Math and English. Currently I am teaching at Dunbar High School located in Chicago Il. And preparing for the LSAT and to change the world. Attached, not married as a matter of fact it is a big reason for me staying in Chicago, but only time will tell. I am not feeling the Chicago weather nor am I feeling the lack of diversity, not in the city per say but more so due to the obvious segregation. The fact that people can grow up in a city and never know what it was like to experience other cultures simply lets me know that Chicago, will never truly be home. But I am making the best of it until I make the next move to law school wish me luck! Hope that all is well with each member of the class of 1995! Drop me a line.

- Message: Hey there. If you knew me back then you might not recognize me easily today. The times have changed me, as I'm sure they have you. I'm married to the same person I was dating during Sr. year, Lisa. We got married in '99, and we're still happy. Honestly, I can say confidently that no one has ever known me as well as she knows me today. If it weren't for her, I'd have a very different life, and it wouldn't even have half of the meaning or joy. She has always accepted me for who I am, and has always been interested in knowing the real me. Speaking of the real me, looking back, I don't really identify much with who I was back then. I'm not sure I really knew myself as well as I should have. Did anyone? Amongst all the issues of image, popularity, and just trying to get by day-to-day without standing out enough to attract ridicule kind of has that effect on a person. School has a funny way of forcing people to conform to a mold that isn't fit for them. Thankfully, the image game stopped appealing to me a long, long time ago. Some of my current interests: Traveling, especially within Cali, LOVE Big Sur, Lisa and I try to get away for a stay there at least once a year. It's the perfect place within a somewhat reasonable driving distance for me to just relax and not worry about the day-to-day stresses of work and city life. I'm definitely a guy who has to chill to stay level. I've always had a big interest in music, more as a fan than anything, but I did run a tiny record label for a short time called Rue Royal Records, and released the first 7" record for the band "Tilly and the Wall" from Omaha, Nebraska. Nowadays, I've been listening to a lot of old stuff. Iggy/Stooges, The Beatles, The Jam, Gang of Four, Joy Division, The Clash, etc. I like a lot of today's stuff but tons of it is based on the bands I just listed, so I find it more fascinating to go to the source. I'd be interested in catching up with some of you. I had a chance to meet with a couple people I used to hang w/. That went alright, I have a feeling more than anything people were sort of surprised that I'm almost nothing like I was back then. If it makes you feel better, I'm a much better conversationalist. Sometimes there's nothing better than a deep conversation with a person who can really hang on the same level. I find that there's really not many people who want to listen to what you have to say, more people are interested in having people listen to them, or hear themselves speak. A conversation has got to be an even exchange of ideas to work, and there aren't many people who are capable of that. My philosophy lately is "most people are asleep even while awake, VERY few people choose to or know how to be TRULY awake." If you can dig this, send me an email, I'd love to catch up with you.
