- Message: What is up with all you of fellow classmates? I been chilling and hitting the books for the past year now. My goodness how time flies. Well after High School I tried to go to Southwestern but I didn't stick to my plan. I ended up just working and playing in bands trying to fill my drive for music. I am a father of a beautiful girl that will be 7 at the end of this year. A lot has happened since high school, for instance I had hurt my back working for Pepsi loading trucks and since then I had lower back surgery. I am doing much better now and workman's comp is helping me pay for school. I am now finally going to college and am so happy that I am able to continue my education. I am studying to become a respiratory therapist. I got less than a year till I graduate from my college. Well I just want to say what up to all my friends and I will see all of you soon. I will hopefully (if I can work it out) graduate from UOP this June with a BSBA. No concentration because I want to go back for a human services degree. I would eventually like to start and run my own foster care agency. My kids Tayari and Solomon are great. Tayari will be 7 in about 6 weeks and Solomon is 5, damn I feel old! I know most won't remember me but I do recall quite a few of you (and the one's I don't I'll look up in the yearbook. I still remember a few from Valle Lindo Elementary. After high school I worked odd jobs until 1999 when I worked at Peoples Chevrolet for five years (not as a land vulture, in the parts dept). I got married in Nov. 2000 and had my son in March 2001 (do the math). I'm still married and bought a house in Spring Valley about 4 years ago. Life is good, I'm working with my brother in our own insurance brokerage insuring big rigs. I still see my cousin Roberto Medina at every Charger game and family function and he is married to Veronica Espinoza (now Medina). this since it had been three years since the last blurb, so here is what's
new...I have been blessed with three phenomenal children in the last three
years, Jason Jr.(3), Nicolas (2), and Jaclyn (6mos.) Although I never
thought I'd take a break from my career, I've been enjoying my babies and
soaking up every moment of their beautiful innocent life since Nicolas was
born. I must admit...it's quite nice. The boys are great with their baby
sister, already very protective of her. Life in Germany is great so far;
which is good, because it looks like we'll be here for awhile! I started
taking German Language classes. Hopefully, by the time we go back to the
states I can speak it well, although I will no longer need too! Jason and I
look forward to some traveling since Germany's central location makes
traveling around Europe more accessible (traveling with three little ones,
we'll tell you how that goes!) As the holidays approach, I hope

I traveled with the band around the world a few times until I met my sweetheart here in L.A, his name is Scott. We got married in June of '98 and we have a beautiful, spunky, and clever little girl named Samantha "Sammy", she's 19 months old now. I'm in the Teacher Training Program at Cerritos college where I can do 2 years there and 2 years at Long Beach State and get my Bachelor's AND my credentials all together if I keep up the hard work. My daughter Sammy is such an inspiration...words just can't explain the joy I feel from being a mommy...ahhhhh ( : I still sing with the Band locally from time to time. - Message: Hi Kids... Med school's over (May '03). I decided to stay in San Francisco for a really kick ass Emergency Medicine training program. I'm work in the emergency department at Highland Hospital in Oakland, AKA: the murder capital of the state. It's actually pretty exciting work. I get to see Van Cheng once in a great while, (she's training in Surgery here). Work keeps me really busy, but there's always enough time for playing with friends (even if I just finished a 38 hour shift at work). I'm single and don't have any kids... After receiving my BBA Information Systems, UTSA, I was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Army. I've been stationed in Fort Campbell (101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)), KY, since DEC 2001. Here I live with my wife Alba and my two boys, Giancarlo (5) and Gabriel (3). As an Avenger platoon leader in the 187th Infantry Regiment, I participated in the war in Iraq, and am now back after a year. Just happy to be alive and home with my family. - Message: Hello Everyone! After graduating from CPHS, I went on to Cal State Univ, Long Beach, and graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in 1998. I have been a Physical Therapist for over 10 years and I absolutely love it! I am the lead Physical Therapist in our clinic and specialize in treating neck and back pain. I've been married for over three years to a wonderful man, but no kids yet, but it's in the plans! I do have a 7-year old Jack Russell Terrier mix who is wonderful. I've taken up Polynesian Dancing for the last 10 years and it's a blast. Our dance group performs at all kinds of events and competitions all over San Diego, including PIFA. This will be my fourth and final year living in New York city and what an adventure it has been! We've been through a lot out here, but we're pulling through okay. On a more interesting note, it's true...the city NEVER sleeps...there is NO place like NY I must say. It's been great meeting people from all over the world and getting to see all the Broadway musicals.
