I'm still the same person as back then only now I am married and have two wonderful children Aziz age 3 and Anouk age 2. I'm a stay at home mom but my husband and two little ones keep me really busy. We love to travel and explore the world together. I finished my teaching credential at SDSU but decided that wasn't for me. I'm now taking photography classes at UCSD extension, hobby and future career...who knows? I still see a couple of people from school, Kerri Boyles my best friend and Alex Espinosa (86). - Message: Greetings Fellow CPHS alumnus, Well, I happened to stumble over this website and here I am. After high school, I raced bicycles in the USCF for a few years and hung around San Diego throughout the 1990's. I also studied Flamenco and Classical Guitar under Diego Corriente and Randy Pile for four years. Then in 1994 I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and was baptized at First Christian Church of Chula Vista. From there, I moved to Clairemont and worked for Horizon Christian Fellowship as a maintenance guy till 1998. In 1999,I felt a calling from God to step out in faith and enlist in the U.S. Army. 6 1/2 years later, took me to Iraq and Texas where I got out as a sergeant, my MOS was 45k: tank turret repaiman. Currently, I'm in Kuwait working as a U.S. Contractor to our troops. Along the way, I've morphed into a motorhead with two Mopars: 1970 Charger and 1974 Dart. Everyone! I thought it was about time to update my info and e-mail address.
I'm still happily married to Von! This coming August we'll be celebrating
our 17th wedding anniversary. I'm still a stay home mom and last September I
began home schooling both our children. We ALL LOVE IT! Von only works on
the weekends so we're able to spend Monday through Friday together. Our
eldest son, Xavier, is now 15 going on 16 in November. He is currently a
Freshman on the Varsity football team for a local private school which
recruits home schoolers for their athletic programs. Our youngest son,
Xander, will be 7 in August. He is currently finishing up Spring baseball
with our local rec association. We're so proud of both our boys for their
hard work and dedication in all that they do! Kids are GREAT! They
definitely help you stay young keeping up with them. Also, Zoe and Heaven
continue to be our favorite canines with a recent addition of a new!

My life has had a millions twists and turns...joined the Marines in 89 till 2000 and then did a tour in the Army before I was medically retired. I recently moved to the Big Island of Hawaii. - Message: Good day all. Hope everyone is well. It's fascinating to read your bio. As for myself, I am going on 18 years in my beloved Marine Corps. I have traveled the world and have experienced some exciting events and some not so exciting events. Before I graduated from HS I mentioned to my friend that it would be awesome to do jungle, desert, snow and mountain training-I could say now that the training sucked especially when it rained. I have done a couple of tours in the Middle East and in Africa and I tell you that it has matured me in many ways. Basically, enjoy life and live life with integrity and honor. I am now a First Sergeant of Marines and stationed in Camp Pendleton with I MEF. I look forward in retiring in another 12 years as a Sergeant Major. My career wouldn't have been as successful if my wife, Irene (Flores class of 86) was not at my side. She is awesome and beautiful.
