I've been on the go doing a lot of interesting things since I've seen a lot of you.  I am currently married (Wife-Lorelei), with two beautiful sons (Brandon-13,Aaron-12).  I'm currently working as a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor at a company in the Kearny Mesa area called "Remec".  Big company, big challenges.  My brothers Guy and Ricky are in the law enforcement busy, while my sister Robin works for a law firm downtown.  I still look pretty good even though the years have added a few pounds. • Message: Hello Everyone ! This Page brings back alot of good memories for me! It's great to see the names on the listed here. Some of us have known each other since Fred H. Rohr Elementary ! (Eddie R. and Ernesto D.) Well I still work for the County as a Probation Officer, fifteen years this August. I'm Married with three great Kid's, one girl and two boys they are 17, 13 and 6. My wife Sylvia graduated from " Chula." We have lived in Rancho Penasquitos for the last ten years and love it! I'm involved with little league sports (Baseball and Pop Warner) in the area. Although back in 1993. I was given an opportunity to coach at Castle Park with my mentor's Gil Warren and Bing Dawson. Coach Warren hired me to coach the Varsity offensive line. That was a great time. Pat Frietas and Jeff Canterbury and I are still together and crazy . We just gotten alot slower and grayer than we were at C.P. Im looking forward to the Reunion and seeing all of you.

Married a Christian woman from CVH- who is currently a Case Manager for Workers Comp. We have three kids: Crystal (grad. in 2007 from CPH)- was a varsity cheerleader and graduated with honors in process of becoming a doctor (Pediatrician). Gilbert (grad. in 2009 from CPH)-was in varsity football, track, and wrestling and is in the process of becoming a college football player and firefighter. Robert-a junior in high school fighting in amateur boxing and is currently competing to make the 2012 Olympic Boxing team.

My recollections of the school events (dances, etc) are ones of great joy. My closest friend that year was Robert Maldonado. I have lost track of him since that time. I often reminisce about my time there and lost friends (Spanky, Crawford, Vera, Denise and of course Robert). I moved back to Texas to finish up High School and Collage but I moved back to California to live.

• Message: Immediately after high school, I did a three year stint in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman. I have been in the United States Border Patrol since 1985. I was originally stationed in El Paso, Texas until my transfer home to America's Finest City in 1992.  I am currently the Southwestern Vice-President for the National Border Patrol Council.  All I do anymore is UNION work for the Agents. I am re-married, again, to a wonderful woman named Laura.  I have five children, two step-children and two beautiful grand-daughters.  My children are from 8 to 20 years of age.  My granddaughters are 3-1/2 and 1-1/2 years old. Besides my family, I enjoy tattoo's and beer.

After high school I worked as a machinist for several years and then I moved to Texas in 1990 . I drive trucks for a living and I go fishing as much as I can on my days off . I am actively involved in Native American Indian Affairs , I attend Pow Wows when I can and practice the old ways of my ancestors . Driving a truck over the years hasn't allowed much time to visit Chula Vista or to see old friends . I am thankful for all the wonderful friends and beautiful times I had in my younger years . We had the greatest school and group of people a guy could ever ask for and there's no place in the world I would of rather grown up . We were all lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful place . • Message: WOW...it has been a very long time since I have seen some of the names listed in the directory and it sure brings back a lot of memories. After leaving CPHS, I "screwed" around for the longest time, wasting my life. I then got my life in order for a change. I ended up in Kansas City Missouri where I got married for the first time. This lasted about 4 years and produced a daughter. And now my little baby girl is grown and on her own. I spent some time in the military and then reserves. After getting out of the military I went to college and became a paramedic. It was a good career if you didn't mind working the 24 & 48 hours shifts. I soon grew tired of the hours and started looking for something else. I found something I had always been interested in. (Locks & Safes) I went back to school and became a locksmith. Now after several years in the field I have taken and passed the association's multi-level system and achieved the highest level of "Master Locksmith". I don't know if anyone from the class of 78 will even remember who I am, but if you do, I'd love to hear from you. There are several people I'd like to get in touch with. I hope to hear from all of you soon. +++Side note...This is the greatest site I have ever found!!

• Message: Hi classmates and others surfing this site. Not much has changed since I updated this page. Still married (hehe), living in north chula vista near Hilltop High.2 daughters Sarah(26)Melissa(20) 2 sons, Michael and Matthew (18), and our only granddaughter Alina (3). My husband Mike I met on a blind date. Yes it was love at first sight. He was working with and roommates with David Perez, my sister Lisa was friends with David, so the rest is history. Mike is a longshoreman and enjoys many hobbies, especially building and working on race cars, fishing, hunting and camping. We enjoy taking our weekend warrior down to Mission Bay for the day. OTL anyone? I'm working @Southwest Middle since 2003.Love the perks with the district hours, benefits, time off etc. Times are a bit scarey right now with budget cuts and economic struggles. I've been through downsizing with AT&T in the past, so hopefully this won't happen again. Change is good, just takes time to adjust. That's life. Have made contact with several childhood friends. • Message Bob Seger wrote "20 years, where'd they go? 20 years, I don't know". After a couple of years at JC (Southwestern and Grossmont), I packed my bags for the bright lights of Fresno. Planned on staying 2 years, get my degree and head off for New York City. 20 years later, I'm still in Fresno...but with a beautiful wife, a college-age daughter and a great son. Most of my career has been spent producing and directing television programming but I recently took a position as the official spokesman for the City of Fresno. (Interesting tidbit our current Mayor is Alan Autry, who played "Bubba" in the popular TV show "In the Heat of the Night"). I've recently gotten back in touch with my paizan Rob Dinsmore through this excellent site, so kudos to the webmater(s). Had a great time at our 20th. I have many, many fond memories of CHP. May the spirit of Troy live on!

• Message: Lets see where the heck do I start.  I was impressed to see that CPHS was able to get a website going....very cool.  Anyway I graduated from UCLA in 1983 then attended the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry from which I graduated in 1987.  Being the perpetual student I continued on and completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU in New Orleans Louisiana which was finished in 1991.  I then went to Medical School at LSU School of Medicine and after doing a year of Medicine/Anesthesia was finally finished with all of it in 1994. In 1994 I married a native of New Orleans, Molly, then moved to Providence Rhode Island to practice oral surgery.  Over the years we have had three children: Charles III age 6, Ellie age 4, and Patrick age 2.  After practicing for five years in Rhode Island I decided to move back to New Orleans where I have been practicing for the past two and a half years.  We live in the city not far from Tulane University which is in an area called Uptown New Orleans.  If any of ya'll have ever been here you know the area.  It is a pretty cool place to live but sometimes a little to active especially as Mardi Gras is upon us.  Feel free to drop a line if you are going to be in the area.  Well that's it for now...see ya!

We live in North County and have a small Vineyard as a hobby and sell the grapes to home wine makers. And of course we keep enough to make our own wine. I'm still working fulltime doing Medical Billing for a large practice in Escondido. It was great reading up on all of you.

• Message: Well it sure was fun seeing everyone at the reunion mixer, I tried to make it to the picnic but was too late. I'm so glad I've moved back down south again (well Orange County is sort of close to CV). Being closer to my family and running into old (not old...old) friends is so nice. We've got a new addition to our family as my daughter got married last year and is living in Northridge with her husband who's doing his masters at CSUN. I've been missing being in the work force so I'm getting back into volunteering. Well that's the latest update for now. Hope to see you all at the next event!!!

• Message: Just found this site! Were did the time go?? Married with three kids to a wonderful S.D. native, Suzy.(18 years this June) After leaving mid-term senior year, I spent way too much time at the beach and eventually was hired to be a lifeguard for Imperial Beach. Worked my way through SDSU and even got a master's Degree (no I'm not kidding) I have a contract with City Schools to teach a specialized fitness program (martial arts at the Performing Arts magnet school in Paradise Hills) I also have an Internet business selling high-end pre-owned road and mtn. bikes (email me if yo need a great bike at a great price!) Anyway, if you ever get down to IB look me up during the summer-man that towns has changed-check the real estate prices!! Lots of memories about the ol days........

My son graduated 2 years ago (2006) with a degree in Economics and my daughter is a Freshman Pre-Law student. I'm still in Atlanta, but will be relocating to Denver in May/June 2008. • Message: After finishing graduate school in March 1999, my choices were Japan or New Orleans. Well, I chose Japan and am now working for NAVSEA out of Yokosuka, Japan as the Battle Force Action Officer Assistant. I had to give up my Padres season tickets but I am enjoying life in the land of the rising sun. I have conquered Mt Fuji and have already made trips to Australia and Thailand.
