- Message: Warmest of Greetings Dear Trojans n Friends.. It took a while but at the suggestion of my Sis, I finally found this great site.. So lets see, some 'Background' is in order, right?.. Ok,,.. After Graduation, I did what most everyone was doing.. 'Beach Bumming'!.. then one day upon waking, I 'heard' the call of 'the wild'.. first thought, 'join the Marines'.. went to do just that, stood in front of the Recruiter's door, stepped back, turned right, and joined the Air Force.. and since I'd been dreaming of the 'Wild Blue Yonder' since I could remember.. naturally, Aviation and the Cockpit was my 'calling'.. Got my 'Wings' and immediately 'volunteered' for 'Action', yea, you got it.. Viet Nam, but not before asking,( can you all believe it?, to be assigned to a Special Operations Squadron, you know? all, hush, hush and all that.. in the process, got my 'Jump Wings', 'Commando' status, etc..etc.. the usual stuff for 'that' time frame.. The rest is History!!.. did 'almost'!
3 Long tours, got 'shot down' once over Laos.. got lucky, and darn grateful I did, unlike many of my Dear Brothers in Arms.. only a few scars to remember my time there.. Came back, was deeply disappointed in People's Attitudes toward the Armed Forces.. went back to School got another Degree, went to work for a Co. in Newport Beach, Ca., however, the ever 'Call of the Wild' was never silent.. so, went back to the USAFR, and in the process found a job with an Airline.. The rest is History Part II.. Have been assigned to the Middle East (Saudi Arabia), Far East (Singapore, Japan, where I proudly received my long awaited Black Belt in Karate, Malaysia, Kuala Lampur, Australia and points in between.. Now flying the B-747 Jumbo for Lufthansa German Airlines happily flying around the World, and living happily in Southwestern Germany close to the Border of Southern France..Ah! the Beer n Wine!!. I am now 'single', but have my Little friends to keep me company when at home, my dear Cats (brought them back from Saudi Arabia) or as the Germans say 'Katze'.. I think often of my happy days as a Trojan and Chula Vistan and am very proud to tell this to anyone who asks where I spent my youth at... Yea, I know.. too much yakki ti yakk, right?.. sorry guy n gals!!.. since it had been a while, you have to excuse my 'long winded' update.. I do come to CV often, and I make it a habit of doing a 'remember when' jog near and around our old turf.. so if you ever see a guy in what seems jogging aimlessly around, stop n say 'hello', it might just be yours truly... Please, I would appreciate and love to hear from anyone in our Great Class of '68.. Promise, no 'long winded' conversations ok?.. eh.. eh.. eh..!!!.. here hoping to hear from You.. Best of All to You All... Antonio 'Tony'Kathleeln Bisheimer (now Robinson)

- College: SDSU/ISU
- Occupation: Shift Supervisor
- Message: Went to SDSU for a year and then enlisted in the Navy (rather than being drafted---we remember that don't we). Spent 6 years in the Navy as an Electronics Technician and Reactor Operator on a slow attack submarine (USS Swordfish SSN 579). After getting out of the Navy, I went to back to Southwestern J C. for 3 months until I was hired (over the phone no less) at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (Dept of Energy). Worked as a Reactor Operator for 6 years and was then promoted to Shift Supervisor. Worked on many different "Tests" for the NRC and DOE for gathering data to support and create to Safety Codes for the Nuclear Industry (in other words, we melted fuel). That was completed in 1985. Since then the Facility I work at was trying to get a project to treat brain cancer (glioblastoma multiforme) with neutrons (kill the cancer without killing healthy tissue). That fell thru ( government doesn't want to irradiate people)--so for the past 17 years We've been preparing the facility for deactivation---in another 6 years I can retire---hopefully. Married in 1977 to my wife Linda, Have 2 sons, ages 12 and 22. I hope there is going to be a 40 year reunion. Made it to the 10 yr & 30 yr reunion but i didn't get to see some of the people I wanted to see. So if we do have a 40 yr reunion, I would like to see or hear from the following people---Bill Worden, Bob Crowl, Jerry Halamuda, Kathy or Linda Rassmussen, Jackie Sheggeby. Email address above.

- Message: Hello, Since getting out of High School, I had a long life with training race horses. Ended up training at Caliente race track just across the border. When the track shut down in early 90's, I had to find a new life. I moved to Coos Bay Oregon and ended up being a casino host at The Mill Casino-Hotel for the past 12 years.. It has been interesting to say the least. I have three grown children, Emily (30) a teacher, Justin (25) Navy Seal and Brandon (20) awaiting going into Navy. It was very exciting getting my Annual out and checking on all who have written in the registry.

- Occupation: Media consulting & production
- Message: At age 48 I became a new father: my sons are 28 years apart (I had to wait for the first one to get steady work before I could afford another one). I've worked on and off in radio for 30 years, mostly as a newscaster, but for several years have made most of my living as a consultant, designer and producer for Internet, print and video projects. It allows me to be at home with baby Will. We spend a couple of hours a day going to local parks to crash "playdates" with mommies and their kids (that's easier than trying to make your own playdates). Keep missing all the reunions: Will and I were sick during the one this summer of Y2K. That's just as well, as I hear that all of the people I went to high school with are old. I turn 50 within 2 days of writing this (Sept. 00) and it's my goal to now find a real job that has retirement benefits, so I can get a pension when I turn 90.

Anyway, I'm still in Chula Vista after all these years. I did a two year stint in the Army a "few" years ago and lived in El Centro for four years in the late 70s, other than that I'm here to stay. I am currently single and raising my 11 year old daughter by myself and have a 26 year old daughter who is getting married next week. I love camping and fishing and riding my atv in the desert. That's about it. I'd sure like to hear from anyone out there.

I've been flying since the 70's and have a commercial pilot's license and my own airplane. It's perfect for our quick trips to interesting places. Some of you are in my

- Message: What a great idea! My sister Kathy turned me on to this site. I hope that more folks find out about it. I'm living in Reno, NV, where I've been for the past 19 years. I love the proximity to Tahoe, the Bay Area and the wine country. I'm married, have been for almost nine years, and have a wonderful (don't they all say that?) 5 year old daughter. Although I have a BA in history/education with a secondary teaching certificate (earned thru an "inventive" nine-year course of study at MSU- but that's too long a story to tell here!), I'm working as a senior melt technician at a 2.4 megawatt EB furnace that recycles scrap titanium into ingot. I have no idea how I wound up doing this, but somehow it seems to work for me. I don't get down San Diego way much anymore ( everyone in my family has moved elsewhere ), so it's hard to keep in touch with CP people. As it has in my ( widely scattered ) family, the "net" would be a way cool place to open new lines of comunication. If you're out there & want to say hi, feel free.

- Message: Wow 42 years, where has it gone? Ya I know don't remind us. First off I would like to say Hi to everyone and encourage you to attend the Mega Reunion. It would really be nice to connect with old classmates. about an hour ago I sat down to enter my information on this page and realized I was writing my life story (short story long. So now I am back to try and make a long story short. January 1 1969, Went into the USAF,3 years at March AFB as an aircraft mechanic and Crew Chief working on T-39 Saberliners (lear jets). Great assignment, got to fly a lot with the pilots all over the U.S. Reenlisted and immediately got orders for South East Asia (Korat Thailand) Spent 1 year there working on B-66's which flew recon and escort missions for the fighters and bombers. That was a year of ups and downs for me. Spent the next 10 months at Williams AFB working on T-38's,33's and F-5's.Also was attempting to become a member of the Air Force Thunderbirds. Using my base of preference as one of my benefits for reenlisting I went back to March AFB and continued to fly as a Crew Chief till our outfit transferred to Norton AFB where I was then an E-5 and was responsible for 6 aircraft and 28 people. On September 17th,1977 I got out for personal reasons. Attempted to go to work Civil Service so I could use my almost 9 years active time towards retirement, but there was a freeze on all government hiring at the time. So I decided to become a carpenter starting out here in SD. I have always enjoyed working with wood and my hands. I then moved to northern Ca. where I continued to work as a carpenter. Things got slow for a while so I went to work for a while working on Cars as a front end and brake mechanic with Winston Tires. I got involved in raceing Quarter Midgets for kids from the age of 5 to 16 and got to know Jeff Gordon along the way. So of course now I am a big fan of his, NASCAR, and Hendrick Motorsports. Came back to SD about 5 years ago to stay, worked for Owens Corning/Home Experts till they shut our division down and then just freelanced on my own for a while. The last big job as a carpenter I worked on is an 11,000 square foot mansion here in the Bonita area. Sits up behind the Fire Station off of Acacia. I have since decided to retire.
