- Message: Aloha everybody! Moved back to Hawaii, January 1982. Also lived in Florida (Tampa Bay Area) for about 8 years. I can say I'm retired (living on V.A. Disability Pension. Went to Viet Nam April of 69-March 70. Finished the rest of my time at Fort Bragg North Carolina (Airborne) then went back to Southwestern College for a while. Divorced, 2 beautiful daughters, my oldest Bernadette will be 18 in May was a contestant in The Hawaii Jr. Miss Program, my youngest, Evette just turned 15 in January and won Talent Queen in her age division and Best All Around in a National Competition( Miss American Starlet) in the Los Angeles Area a couple years ago my last job was working at the Honolulu International Airport. Our music brings out the child in everyone. My mother-in-law said I would end up on the corner playing for food. We spend the winter in Chula Vista, the summer in Iowa and Minnesota, and the fall in Key West, Fl and Charleston, SC, the rest is just a flip of the coin and a turn of the compass.

We have 6 beautiful Grandchildren, and the oldest Michael Ryan is a Senior and is attending CPH, and is playing Football and Baseball here and which is the first 3rd generation graduating from CPH. Thats so hard to believe, cuz I'm still 39 ha-ha-ha. We're still in the Chula Vista area, which is nice. All our children graduated from CPH and 3 or them are in the educational field with SUHSD. - Message: A Brief recap, I joined the USAF in June of '66 and went to Germany for 3 Yrs. as a Civil Engineer Protective Coating Specialist (painter). In '70 I retrained and became a Aircraft Loadmaster, flying on C-123K's, C-141A's and C-130B, E&F's. I had tours in Viet Nam, Taiwan, Japan and England. After 9 months in Saudi and Kuwait for Desert Shield and Desert Storm I decided to retire and moved to Las Vegas. I married my wife, Jean, in 1970 while stationed in San Bernardino and have one daughter, Brenda, who lives in Houston, TX. My wife & I live in Henderson, NV, where I am Chief of Security, at the Skyline Casino and Restaurant, and she works for Ford Motor Company.

- Message: well guys, after high school, decided the Military was my best option. Joined the Air Force, got educated (to some degree) and landed a Flight Engineer position. Retired after 22 years. after traveling throughout this world, I decided, home was the best place for me. Soon after arriving, I was given the opportunity to work for the Dept of the Navy as an Acft F-18 Hornet Foreman. Spent another 21 years with the Navy and decided that was enough. Recently retired from all this "Stuff" and am now enjoying life. Jogging, building Hotrods and enjoying the things I never had time for. Married to Yolanda Fraga (Class of 67). - Message: Hello Class Of '66!! I joined the Navy after graduating. Spent 6 years there with about three years in and out of Viet Nam. I got out and went to a Technical college for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in Oklahoma where I married a Creek Indian girl and had two children by her I came back to CA. in '79 still working for Sears as a repairman. Divorced the wife, kept the kids. I remarried in in '83 and in '89 joined the Sea Bees of the navy reserve, one weekend a month two weeks a year.. unless somebody calls you up for dessert storm for 8 months (bummer)!! I changed jobs in 98 to be a stationary engineer at a large shopping mall in San Francisco. More money and better benefits and no housewives/husbands to hear complain about their broken microwave. I now have an 8yr. old girl and twin 6 yr. old girls. That's what happened to me. I would like to hear from anyone of you. jim r.

- Message: Just joined the electronic age and got my first computer. After cphs graduated from southwestern then PSU in Oregon in Geography. I've lived in Portland ever since, except for some traveling years around the country as a cowboy, planetarium lecturer, boat builder, farm hand and about a dozen other interesting stints. I was married, twice, and have been single for the last ten years, no kids. I've lived a student lifestyle all my life. The outdoors has been the center of my activities and I taught various outdoor classes at several colleges and universities. Arthritis has slowed me down a bit but I just canoed 150 miles of the Missouri river from Fort Benton to Kips landing, following Lewis and Clarks route. Just got back from a two week fly fishing trip to the west side of Vancouver island. Through rei i teach ultralight backpacking clinics and a couple years ago, hiked the Oregon pacific crest trail. My closest friends in school were Bob Takashima and Barb Tonelli. If anyone knows what happened to them or how i could get in touch, let me know. I never made it back to any of the reunions and haven't seen a soul since i left 35 years ago.
