- Message: I'm currently the Resident Manager at Ronald McDonald House at Stanford in Palo Alto CA and doing some freelance editing for various companies in the area - just left The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where I was a Team In Training Campaign Manager - completed 3 marathons and worked with lots of participants who trained and completed their own marathon events. I'm actively looking for another non-profit position where I can feel like I'm making a difference in the world. My son is in San Francisco and my daughter and granddaughter live in Idaho - way too far away for my liking, but then I moved away from "home" too! I'd love to hear from old friends near and far.

We live in Ridgecrest Ca., which is in the Mojave Desert 240 miles North of C.V. on Hwy 395. I spent four years in the USMC after High School and spent one tour in Vietnam as a helicopter gunner/crew chief. I retired from Federal Civil Service in 1999 and now work part time as a contractor for the Navy. Margo and I like to fish and travel and I'm really involved in Mountain Bike riding. We really love it here in the high desert.

My wife, Linda is a substitute teacher in the Chula Vista Elementary School District and loves working with your children and grand children. I've been with SDG&E since 1972 in various positions. For the past six years I have been a Foreman. I put three years in the Army with one being in Vietnam. I returned safely with out any physical or emotional scars. My computer skills are minimal but I can peck out a message. I would love to hear from any former class mates.

- Message: I have been divorced for 28 years and live in Blossom Valley with 13 dogs, 5 horses (4 minis), 3 pygmy goats, and 4 cats. I wish I would have become a vet instead of an attorney now! I have two sons (30 and 35) and two granddaughters (7 and 1). I am still working in the LA area at the electric utility up there and must commute every day (2 to 3 hours each way). I am anxiously anticipating my retirement, which is getting closer every day (the more tired I get)! Would love to hear from old friends. Is there a 1965 reunion planned? Although I never graduated with my class, since I left for college a year early, I still feel like I am part of it.

- Message: I ran across the Newsletter and thought that I would reply. I am now Dr. Dian L. Denyer (Hostetler-maiden name). I was a 1965 graduate of Castle Park High School. My brother Ron Hostetler, who passed away in 1991 from a fatal aneurysm, was a Castle Park Graduate. I have been a Special Ed Teacher, Resource Specialist, and I now have a private practice. My son just graduated from La Jolla Country Day and will be going to University of Colorado at Boulder. My daughter Kimberly Aceves Denyer is graduate of Berkley and is the Development Director for Urban Services. I am currently the Program Chair for the Women's Council on Mental Health and I am a Crisis Interventionist for the San Diego P.D. We are a close family who loves to travel. I speak to young adults ( high School age) about their dreams and aspirations and let them know that they can get where they want; that life is not a dead end street. My husband, Paul is responsible for the grass on the baseball field, which he felt great about. My mom passed away 2 years ago but her house is still there on Elden Avenue. - Message: Hi fellow CP classmates. I am happily married (second marriage) retired from Pacific Bell (had a fabulous career), and live in Casa De Oro with husband Mike. Mike is retired also, a musician playing guitar or bass with a couple of big bands for fun. I have a daughter Aimee, married to Jeff, every mother-in-law's dream; and 2 granddaughters. After retiring in 1991, I went through training with Hospice to become a "patient care " volunteer. Mike and I have a motorhome, and have traveled here and there. Our longest trip went up the California-Oregon coast, then across to New Hampshire and Maine. A true test of compatability. I am busy babysitting my newest grand daughter 4 days a week, but try to do as little as possible the rest of the time.
