We are born naked, wet, and hungry. Then things get worse. Artificial intelligence usually beats real stupidity. And of course, finding the hard way, I concurred that hard work has a future payoff. Laziness pays off now. ...oh yeah and one more word of advice, if your computer says, "Printer out of Paper," this problem cannot be resolved by continuously clicking the "OK" button...Seems to happen a lot in college...

- Message: So here's the deal. I recorded a latin dance album with some of the producers from Menudo and it still hasn't come out. They're really pissing me off and I hope it's out soon. U know how it's been my dream to release a latin dance album and all. Besides that, I was "Guy passing by on the pogo stick" in the movie "Anger Management" and I have my own shoelace company called "Them Laces Be Fly Boyyyy." - Message: I graduated from UC Riverside in June 2005 and am currently working on my Masters in Student Affairs at USC!!! LA pretty much sucks and I miss SD like crazy but USC is frickin' awesome!! I'm the biggest Reggie Bush and 'SC football fan and have been to all the home games. "Once a Trojan, always a Trojan" is right - everytime I hear the band, I think of CP =). Other than that there is no other news since I'm not married and have no kids...I'm sure I'll see some of you next time I'm home and go to Hermanos at 2am...

- Message: It's funny how much life changes over a few years. The last time I updated was in 2005 and I had just graduated with my B.A. from Berkeley. It's now 2009 and I just completed my Master's Degree in Counseling from USD. Although I have yet to land a job in counseling I'm doing some consulting work. I'm working for the Sweetwater Union High School District as the Coordinator for the Compact for Success Evaluation Project. Compact for Success was initiated the year we graduated and has never undergone an evaluation of its programs and services. So we're conducting both quantitative and qualitative data over a three year span. It's really exciting work that will eventually benefit students, parents, counselors, teachers, and administrators in helping them achieve access and increase completion rates for students! I've also been doing similar work with community colleges in Oklahoma and San Jose. Aside from work, I've been considering a Ph.D. in Sociology. I'll be applying this year, so by the time I update this again...who knows....I may be Dr. Vasquez :)
