Castle Park High School Class of 1996 – 20th Reunion
More Info Here!
Hello CLASS of 1996! It's been 20 year's and you still look good. Well, except for the 20 extra pounds. Not to worry, you got some time to work it off.
Let's plan our 20 Year Reunion!
What: Our 20 Year Reunion party! 20 years is a long time, but once a Trojan... Always a Trojan! This event will be private to us from 6pm - 9pm and it will include a hosted bar with horderves from 6pm - 7:30pm. After 9pm, the club will open to the general public. This means that you can stay and party like it was 1999... if you still have it in you.
When: The Reunion will be either the last weekend of September or early October. There is no set date yet, because we need to hit our Tilt goal first. Once we Tilt, the details of the event will be finalized. This is why it's important to buy your tickets soon and not wait until the last day in July.
How: Using Tilt we can see how many Trojans are interested in having a Reunion. The cost per person, per ticket will be $40 (You can always donate more if you're awesome like that :). Tilt will not charge your card unless we hit our goal and/or at the end of the set Tilt date. Which expires at the end of July (31st). In other words, if you buy your ticket now, you will not be charged until the end of July and if we Tilt. If we don't Tilt, the event will cancel and your card will not be charged.
Where: If we Tilt, we will have the event at an upscale nightclub in Downtown San Diego. We will have the club reserved to us from 6pm - 9pm, giving us the opportunity to catch up and enjoy some fun memories.
Why: Because, it's been 20 freaking years and you deserve a fun night out! Stop your crying and buy a ticket, PREPARE TO SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER!
To recap, in order for our 20 Year Reunion to happen, we need to raise $3,500. In doing so, we will have reserve an upscale nightclub in Downtown SD from 6pm - 9pm. You can hang out after 9pm and party till dawn or if you're like me, get home to the babies. The cost is $40 per person, this will get you a ticket to the event and it will include a hosted bar plus horderves for the first hour and a half of the event.
The Tilt Effect: The way Tilt works is, we set an end date to raising the money. If we do not hit our goal by the set date, and you purchased a ticket. The money goes back to your account. If we hit our goal, we TILT and the event happens. If we go above our goal, we can make the event even better. I got to these number based on the interest raised on the Reunion FB page. In other words... if it's going to happen, it's up to us! Good luck team and hope to see you all there!

Loss of a Great Educator
A memorial honoring Mr. Swift took place at his father's namesake, Swift Stadium, at the campus of CPHS on April 10, 2005. Mr. Swift passed away on March 20, 2005. He was 58 Years Young.
My memories of Mr. Swift were plenty and funny. He allowed me to read the daily bulletin at the start of 4th period...He was fun and a fair teacher.
I had Mr. Swift at CP Junior High as well...He will be missed.
